Arrive in Kibale Forest National Park, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees and 12 other primate species including red colobus, black-and-white colobus, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.

Return to the lodge for lunch, then visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-managed swamp rich in birdlife, butterflies, and monkeys. You’ll also meet local women weaving crafts — a great opportunity to support conservation through tourism.
